Wordle is a cool gadget used for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes.
Students can create poems, wordlists and art with Wordle. One teacher has seen her students' spelling improve by getting kids to use Wordle to practise their spelling words.
While you can't save the images, you can print them or "capture the screen" and then save the image.
