One technique is that you should relax yourself and try not to stutter a lot. Another technique is to listen carefully to what the client your interviewing is saying. Ask for clarification if you don’t understand a specific thing. Always think positive when you’re talking to the person your interviewing. build self confidence when your asking the questions. Try not to be arrogant. Ask questions in a manner that will get the client comfortable.
one technique i think is important is that you should be thinking of the clients needs instead of yours because you have to be thinking about what the company is looking for, and while doing so you should have a positive outlook. don't go talking about one point the interviewee said. ask the interviewee where they worked before and if they have any experiences. If your company is a social environment you might want to ask the employee if they had any problems with any employees. one main strategy is that you should make the client feel like they are in a comfortable area. a good technique is to ask a question twice in 2 different ways so when they cant answer it they must have lied about it or don't want people to know. i also think not stuttering helps because it seems you are not prepared and/or guilty of lying. in your voice speak loud enough for the interviewee to hear and don't give away emotion , this may mess up your whole interview.
When you are indterviewing a person try to be comforting and try to make them feel comfutable them self. Try not to stutter alot or else that will make the person you are interviwing uncomfortable. Some times when you are interviwing a person and you ask them questions, but you are not sure if they are saying the truth then go online and check on the internet and cheack yourself if they are saying the truth or not. Try not to rush through the questions that will make the person nervous. When they answer questions sometimes rarely put comments in between for example " yea, i heard that" . Look calm and comfortable and try not to stutter.
a technique is to get your notes ready and review it befor asking your questions and be comfortable with the person your interviewing and make sure the person your interviewing is comfortable with you and the question your asking him/her. :) :P
It looks as though many of you learned some great things the other day. I'd like to know:What are you as the interviewer thinking when you go into an interview? How do you set yourself up for success? What will be the best outcome of your interview after you have done it? What might happen to you if you don't get everything you need in your interview? Think about these things...and reflect. I'd like to hear what you have to say. Also remember to put your name on your post! :) Ms.Kearns
